- A recent new member of the Antigonish SPCA. The SPCA must depend on volunteers to provide temporary care while animals await adoption. We do not have enough volunteers to provide this service. The need for a facility is acute. Juno, on my shoulder, was my first foster cat. I have enjoyed several cats in my lifetime: Ginger, Mickey, Minnie, Billy, Muffet, Scooter and Frosta.
